Fun & Easy Hands-on Cooking Lessons
You can learn to cook your favourite dishes with us and will be able to enjoy your new cooking skills. In the meantime, you can also treat your friends -- It is not a dream...any more.

Ottawa Chinese Cooking Studio helps make your dream come true. We teach Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean and Vietnamese cuisine. All of our classes are hands-on. In our cooking classes, we show and teach cooking skills, and talk about culture. Each class is full of fun and information, and everyone participates in cooking activities. As always, students are welcome to eat during the period of cooking, and then to take home afterwards.

Features of our cooking classes:
  1. All classes are hands-on;
  2. Every student participates in making all dishes being taught in class;
  3. Each class is also a dinner, including all dishes the students made, and a number of complimentaries.
  4. With your hands-on experience in class and the detailed recipes of the dishes being taught, you will be able to cook independently at home.
We provide the following:
  1. Copies of the detailed recipes of the dishes being taught;
  2. Some complimentaries, such as rice, tea, drinks, chili sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger, and fortune cookies;
  3. All necessary stuff for eating in class and food containers for take-home. Students are welcome to bring their own containers for take-home if wary of styrofoam ones we provide;
  4. Names and locations of stores where selling the ingredients you need for your cooking at home.
Most of our cooking classes are private ones, but we generally hold a few scheduled cooking classes monthly. Please email us for registration and inquiries.
